1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Walimu Portal (operated by DarTutors), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this platform.

2. About the Platform

Walimu Portal is an online job board connecting qualified teachers with schools across Tanzania. The platform is managed by DarTutors and is intended solely for legitimate employment purposes within the Tanzanian education sector.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering. Sharing your account with others or impersonating another person or organisation is strictly prohibited.

4. Teacher Accounts

Teachers may create a profile, upload their CV, and apply for job postings listed on the portal. You warrant that all information provided in your profile and application materials is truthful and accurate. Falsifying qualifications or credentials is grounds for immediate account termination.

5. School Accounts

Schools may post job vacancies and review teacher applications. All job postings must be genuine, current, and comply with Tanzanian labour laws. Misleading job adverts, phantom vacancies, or any form of fraud will result in immediate suspension and may be reported to relevant authorities.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the platform without permission
• Use the platform for spam, phishing, or unsolicited advertising
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the system

7. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you upload (such as CVs and cover letters). By uploading content, you grant DarTutors a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and use that content solely for operating the platform. DarTutors does not sell your documents to third parties.

8. Limitation of Liability

DarTutors acts as an intermediary platform only. We do not guarantee employment outcomes, the accuracy of school listings, or the suitability of teacher applicants. DarTutors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential losses arising from use of the platform.

9. Account Termination

DarTutors reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or is inactive for an extended period, without prior notice.

10. Changes to These Terms

DarTutors may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes arising from use of the platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Tanzanian courts.
